Monday + TheInsiders

Image
Happy Monday everyone! How was your weekend? Saturday was a pretty lazy day for us. We know how my Sunday started and later in the day we went to look at a new vehicle but, it ended up being not exactly what we were looking for. So now the hunt continues. In the afternoon my husband and son loaded up their quads and headed over to my aunt's property to go riding. Before they headed out there we had the opportunity to try out Merkts Sharp Cheddar Cheese Spread. This is a campaign from a company I was going to share about today.   The Insiders . I have applied to several Insiders campaigns. This was the first one I was offered. It is very simple to sign up. After signup you are able to apply to campaigns. You fill out a questioner and usually at the end they ask why you think you would be a good candidate for that campaign. This is also where they say that this particular answer will have the most impact on whether you are picked or not. I usually try to provide a good ...

Sunday Morning + PinchMe

Image
How's your morning going so far? Mine didn't start out so great. My daughter's oxygen monitor started alarming at 5:40 AM. She had crawled out of bed and was sleeping on her foot the wrong way which causes her monitor to alarm due to lack of blood flow. Also when she crawled out of bed she also managed to pull out her feeding tube port. So now I had to deal with food all over her and her bed. Getting her PJs changed was a quick easy task and now she's tucked back into a clean bed and already back asleep. Unfortunately for me, I can't fall back asleep so easily.  It is now close to 6:30 AM and I heard the coffee pot alarm that it's ready, so I guess I'm starting my Sunday quite early. What is sleeping in anyway when you're a parent? As I get into the refrigerator I do remember I get to try the new Nestle coffee creamer, Cookies 'N Cocoa. I laughed to myself when I saw it in the store because it reminded me of one of my favorite Christmas m...

Tryazon

Image
While I only plan to post once a week I thought I would share one of my favorite sites so far for getting samples. I accidently stumbled upon Tryazon while browsing the reviews on swimming pools! One of the reviewers said she had received the pool for free from Tryazon in exchange for a review. As soon as I saw that I hopped on over to Tryazon to sign up! The premise is simple, once signed up through Tryazon they offer campaigns with a limited number of spots. There is date that you have to apply by, and within a week or two of the closing date they pick candidates to host parties. You are expected to have a party with a certain number of people, pass out samples or coupons at the party, take pictures and post on social media with certain hashtags, leave reviews on the products, and lastly take a closing survey that is sent to you. I have been able to host only a couple of these parties so far. My first was a Lakanto party and most recently a Truly Grass Fed party. I rea...

Hello!

Image
Hello there! I'm Heather! I am starting this little journey to be able to share a little bit of my fun finds, lifestyle, deals and trials! I am definitely a deal hunter! I am not to good with writing so I am hoping this journey can help that as well! So I guess now this is where I tell you a little about me! I have lived in the PNW for all my life! It can be gloomy most of the time but there are days where it is just breathtaking! I have been with my husband for almost 15 years! I started dating him right after High School in 2004! He is 5 years my senior and I actually knew him before dating him! He was a good friends cousin! Because he was so much older than me I never really thought about him like that! It wasn't until a couple friends set us up on a blind date that I ever really saw him as just a friends cousin! He said for him it was love at first sigh, haha, I was unsure because I knew who he was! I could go on and on but I'll skip ahead to our first big journey in li...
